We came across Crown lighting during one of our roaming trips along Geylang.. served by Davis, quite an easy going, friendly guy, feed us with infos. He wasnt pushy at all, and even told us to look ard for more lightings and designs tat we want. He said that he use to do wholesales, so he can get us cheaper rates and has more lobangs. He did say tat if we found a simliar item outside, he wil try to give us at a lower rate as long as he earn alittle bit lahr..
Davis advise us not to purchase from some BIG shops as they have high overhead costs due to workers pay, gst, advert etc. I was enlighten when he mention that a few of the companies were actually under the same boss.. ewww... Ohya, he mentioned tat if ID were to come along, BIG ID firms usually require more commission so he got no choice but to "markup" the price. Those pple will kena chop carrot head. One tip for sure, beta to shop alone without ur ID.
Jef and i feel comfortable with him, so we shortlisted him. After another few wks of research here and there, still feel that Davis has reasonable pricing and his service is good compared to some other shops that we have been to. Some shops ma chiam like we owe them money like tat and even got one shop like cemetary...... the shop is dim even thou its a lighting shop and the salesman followed us quietly, no sound at all... shhh..
So we have make our deposit with Davis, with alittle discount here and there.
